  • RDA Toolkit Switchover To celebrate the switchover when the beta version of RDA Toolkit becomes the official version of the RDA standard on December 15, 2020 we invite you to join us online on 16th December at 10:30am CET to toast the future of RDA.   • 24 April 2019 An IFLA satellite meeting, RDA 2019, will be held by EURIG in conjunction with the IFLA Cataloguing Section and the IFLA Committee on Standards. The meeting will take place on 21 August, 2019, at the Central Library of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.
  • 19 Feb 2019 The 2019 EURIG members meeting will take place on May 2-3, 2019, in Budapest, Hungary.
  • 16 Jan 2018 JLIS.it Vol. 9, No. 1: An overview on RDA in Europe: EURIG2017 has been published. The issue includes articles based on presentations given at the Annual EURIG Seminar and Members' Meeting 2017.
  • 20 Nov 2017 The 2018 EURIG members meeting will take place on May 24-25, 2018, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Details will follow.

  • 08-10 May 2017 The Annual EURIG Seminar and Members' Meeting 2017 took place at Aula Magna of the University of Florence, Sala del Basolato, and Villa la Torrossa, Florence and Fiesole, Italy. Speeches and presentations are available; the proceedings will also be published in JLIST.it (no. 1, January 2018).
  • 23-25 May 2016 The Annual EURIG Seminar and Members' Meeting 2016 took place at the National Library of Latvia, Riga. A final program, seminar presentations, minutes and outcomes of the Members' Meeting, and a discussion document on the EURIG transition to RDA Europe region are available.
  • 14 Apr 2015 The Annual EURIG Members Meeting 2015 took place at the Swiss National Library, Bern. Meeting outcomes are available.
  • 25 Apr 2014 The Annual EURIG Members Meeting 2014 took place at Austrian Library Network, Vienna. An agenda, meeting outcomes, several presentation slides, and a report on the JSC Places Working Group are available.
  • 23 Apr 2014 EURIG presents the results of the EURIG survey on adoption of RDA – 2013, analysed by Katharine Gryspeerdt of the British Library. The survey was conducted in July 2013. and provides a snapshot of members' plans for RDA implementation and feedback from those institutions that have begun to apply RDA.

  • 25 Mar 2013 The EURIG Working Group on Aggregates met at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Paris.
  • 21 Sep 2012 The Annual EURIG Members Meeting 2012 took place at Biblioteca Nacional de España, Madrid. A final agenda and minutes are available.
  • 15 Aug 2012 The EURIG Working Group on Aggegrates met during the IFLA conference 2012 in Helsinki. Minutes of the meeting are available.
  • 2 Aug 2012 The first proposals from EURIG to develop RDA have been submitted to JSC. They are published by JSC in the Community document series.
  • 25 Jul 2012 EURIG presents the results of the EURIG survey on adoption of RDA – 2012, analysed by Katharine Gryspeerdt of the British Library. The survey was conducted in February and March 2012 and provides a snapshot of members' plans for RDA implementation. It also includes contextual information which may be of value to others who are also considering if or when to implement RDA. We hope that you find the results interesting and useful and that they will promote further collaboration among members.

  • 8 Dec 2011 The inaugural meeting of EURIG was held in in Frankfurt am Main, hosted by the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek. A final agenda, outcomes of the meeting, and draft minutes are available.
  • 27 Sep 2011 The formal launch of the European RDA Interest Group (EURIG) took place in Copenhagen. A press release is available. The EURIG Cooperation Agreement is also available, together with a EURIG Membership Application Form.
  • 26 Aug 2011 A report on RDA in Europe: Report of the work in progress in France; proposal for a EURIG technical meeting in Paris is available.
  • 8 Aug 2010 RDA in Europe: making it happen! A seminar organised by the European RDA Interest Group (EURIG) and the Joint Steering Committee for Development of RDA (JSC) was held in Dronningesalen at the Royal Library in Copenhagen. Presentations, programme and list of attendees are available.
  • 15–19 Jan 2010 Further discussions about EURIG took place during the American Library Association Midwinter Meeting in Boston, USA.
  • 23-27 Aug 2009 Further discussions about a European RDA Interest Group took place during the World Library and Information Congress: 75th IFLA General Conference and Assembly, Milan, Italy.
  • 9-15 Jul 2009 The idea of a European RDA Interest Group was discussed during the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago, USA.
